Voting for National Officers

Changing your option is temporarily locked pending completion of current election.

TCA is now offering its members the opportunity to cast their votes for national officers electronically. While this will save trees and TCA's expenses, those members who desire to cast their ballots by paper will still be able to do so. To prevent double-voting, each member will be allowed to cast their ballot only the one way they select.

How it Works

Our computer system sets as the default that you want to continue to mail the printed ballot in. To continue using the paper ballot, you don't have to do anything, just mail the ballot in when you receive it.

To participate in modern online voting, Simply go to your TCA account at (Or just log in to the Traincollectors site your usual way and click on Manage Profile, Edit Bio, where you make your usual changes to your account information.)

There, select "Opt In for Online Voting" and you will receive an email notice at national election time about how to cast your ballot online. Do it NOW, as changing your option won't be permitted during the election period. (If you should receive a paper ballot, don't use it, as only your online vote will be counted.) While you're on your profile page, make sure you have a valid email address in your profile. Then click the Orange Save Changes button at the bottom of that page to record your choice.

Here's what to look for in your Profile (others can't see this):

To opt in for voting online:

You can always change your option by editing this section, but during the period of voting, this option will be frozen.

REMEMBER, YOU CAN VOTE ONLY ONE WAY! Duplicate votes will not be accepted!
